The Lost Card

Hello everyone! Hope all is well with everyone, and that their shopping is all done! I myself am almost finished. I have a few things left to get, but the worst (yeah, I said “worst”) of it is finished. I don't want to go out and finish, because I can't pull myself away from making cards! Seriously! I knew there was a reason why I put my card making supplies away. It's because it's all I want to do when they are out. It's just too much fun, not to mention relaxing!

I have two cards this week, but it's not why you would think. It's actually because I had one card almost finished, but my husbands parents were coming from out of town to stay for a few days so I gathered up all my supplies, thinking I would be able to finish the card the next day. But I actually lost it in all of my “stuff”. So I decided to make another one. And as life goes I was almost finished with the replacement when I found the first one... of course. So, that is why they are a bit similar.

This is the first card I had almost finished “the lost card”. The materials I used-Textured card stock- Core-dinations; Lace- Offray; Buckle-?; Decorative card stock- Studio G; Border punch- Martha Stewart; Ink- Studio G; Blue glitter snowflake- Paper Studio; Mini brads-Doodle Bug Designs; Deckle scissors- Family Treasures; White pen-
American Crafts and the image-“Libby And Her Penguin, Pete” at Squigglefly by myself, Fawn Palmer. I hope you enjoy my two cards today. The replacement card is in the next post! Hope you have a great week, and a very Merry Christmas!

  1. Fawn, both of your cards are just darling. I love the colors you used and you have some of the prettiest embellishments! I can certainly relate to wanting to make cards all of the time - and I'm so glad you've gotten your supplies out and started again! Have a Merry Christmas!

  2. Lovely cards. You sound like me losing things in my 'stuff'. I am so disorganised at the moment. Thanks for joining Top Tip Tuesday. Elaine
